A Child's Dream
Dreams are inevitable, sometimes more than others. Dreams may also become nightmares. But our dreams will always tell us something about ourselves whether we want it to or not. I believe it is okay to fear your dreams and what they are telling you because that is just how the human body works. A lot of times your brain cannot differ between dreams and real life which can cause a lot of heartache and pain sometimes as well as joyful moments. Dreams are not only a figment of your imagination but real and achievable goals.
In today's society people look at dreams as unachievable because so many people have doubted them in the past. I look at dreams as those obstacles your parents told you as a kid you couldn't do like being able to fly. But knowing somehow you could, you ran upstairs to your twin size bed and jumped on it all night with the image that you were flying. It doesn't matter how you got there, but the fact that you did shows how much perseverance and dedication to something so minuscule you had at such a young age. Being able to transfer that passion to things when you get older Is so important. Having a dream and following it is the beautiful part of finally finding yourself. It doesn’t matter what anybody says you can't do, what matters is what you say you can do. I wish that every person could take the inner kid from within and let that be who they are in every facet of life continuously doing what you put your heart to. Be a follower of your dreams, be the leader of your future. X.Jr.X.
